Benton County maintains sites ready for location of new industries in the Benton County Industrial Park, located one mile west of US Highway 641 on Natchez Trace Road. This 427 acre industrially zoned area has in place a 750,000 gallon water storage facility, three phase power lines, a 4" natural gas line, and wastewater treatment line to the Camden water treatment facility. Current occupants include: Jones Plastics, Power Manufacturing, Inc., Dura-Craft Millwork, Inc., and the Camden Vocational Rehabilitation facility

There are five lots remaining in the phase one developed part of the park, which comprises about one third of the total area of the park. The Benton County Chamber of Commerce and the Benton County Industrial Board market and serve as the designated agents for this development property.

One of the available lots at the Benton County Industrial Park has been recently designated a "Deal Ready" certified industrial site. This is a designation awarded under a new state program offering a certified site status to industrial sites that have met a rigorous set of criteria for infrastructure, ownership, communications, transportation, environmental, flood zones, building codes, and much more. In all, over 100 points of information had to be provided with full doccumentation before a site could be certified. The site at the Benton County Industrial Park is one of the first state certified "Deal Ready" sites in Tennessee. This certification provides site consultants and prospective industry assurance that the property is ready to meet their needs with no "surprizes".

In addition, there are at times, privately held properties suitable for industrial or commercial use in Benton County and the Chamber seeks to serve as an information resource for tenants interested in these properties.
