Benton County Government
Benton County has a commissioner form of government. The county is divided into 6 court districts with a total of 18 magistrates who are elected for four-year terms. The County Executive is elected for a four-year term. The County Commission meets once monthly.

Garbage Disposal: Benton County has a state of the art landfill. Benton Countians have the option of taking their garbage to the landfill themselves with free dumping, or having it picked up by one of the companies at a minimal fee.
