Industrial Development Committee - Promotes economic development in the Benton County/Camden area through soliciting the relocation of new businesses and industries. This committee is very active in pursing industries both large and small to relocate to our area, thus creating new jobs and helping promote local economy through increased revenue, taxes and new jobs. The committee also coordinates the annual Industrial Appreciation Luncheon and quarterly seminars that address concerns of the local businesses and industry.

Beautification Committee - Encourages residents to take pride in the appearance of our country.

Membership Committee - Responsible for promoting the Chamber of Commerce and recruiting new members. The group is very active and works diligently to promote the Chamber and the benefits of membership. The committee also coordinates the Annual Membership Banquet and the membership drive.

Tourism Committee - This group works to promote local festivals and events, and develops ideas for new activities that will draw visitors to Benton County. The committee recently developed a new tourism brochure that promotes the vast tourism properties and amenities in Benton County. The brochure will be distributed at welcome centers, trade shows and local businesses and is mailed in reply to requests for information on Benton County. The committee also sponsors informational seminars that educate the business community on the economic benefits of tourism.

Lake Sub-committee - This recently established extension of the Tourism Committee is dedicated to the development of lake oriented activities and attractions on Kentucky Lake. They are looking at the development of several areas for the attraction of sportsmen and water enthusiasts of all kinds.

Retirement Committee - This committee also recently established is actively investigating the benefits of attracting retirees to Benton County. It is estimted that the attraction of one retired couple to the community is equal in overall economic benefit to 3.2 manufacturing jobs and Benton County has a great deal to offer the retiree.

Christmas Parade Committee - This group works hard each year to produce the Benton County Christmas Parade and the lighting of the Benton County Christmas Tree on the Court Square.

Chamber Ambassadors - This group is responsible for welcoming new chamber members and attending ribbon cuttings and grand opening ceremonies.
